hey BURD, here's a couple of other good Q-jet books:
1. "How to Rebuild and Modify Quadrajet Carburetors" by Cliff Ruggles
This is a relatively recent book and included coverage of the newer electronically-controlled versions. The author also runs a business to rebuild/modify Q-jets, and sells parts. I am endorsing the book, but I have not personally used any of Cliff's services.
2. "Rochester Carburetors" by Doug Roe.
This one covers all Rochesters, not just Q-jet. It was originally written in the mid-70s, and I've been using my copy since then! Roe was a Rochester Products engineer, and used a lot of his inside info to write the book.
Both books can readily be found from online providers.
