Lt1's antenna end is missing, how does it come off?

It's probably easier to replace it.  But there are connectors for that kind of wire.

there is something in the way to see where it's bolted to, how does it mount there?

I assume you have an antenna.  One side is connected to the radio and the other goes to the antenna.

It goes up to the windshield antenna, but a duct is in the way to see how it mounts.

It it's second gen, take the plastic cowl off the front outside the windshield.  There's two fasteners that hold it in place.  There's a connector on the end of the lead that fits into the connector for the window.  Those are available at the scrap yards.  No one knows how to take them off.  :D

If it's third gen with a windshield antenna, it probably works the same way.  That can't be fixed.

I checked the spare I have.  It's about five or six inches long.  On the outside of the car, with the hood open, follow the leads in the windshield as the come together at the middle bottom.  You'll see the wires exit the glass and into a rubber cap.  That cap is on the end of the antenna lead.  Disconnect it and you should see the two fasteners that hold the antenna wire in place.  Disconnect those and pull the wire out.
