If he doesnít Iíd like to see it. Iím not sure I need to replace my harness necessarily but when time comes to add my AC stuff back it may come in handy.

I see the plug.    It comes in from behind the box.   Itís not easy like everyone says
You have to remove the lower duct as well.

Yeah, now wonder it was a pain in the ass if you removed all that shit.  The A/C harness is easy.

I'll come by this weekend and do it for you.  I replaced mine without the need to remove the ducts.  You need to stick your arm between the ducts, I know its hard to grab it but it can be done.    It is easier to attach a string before pulling the old one through.  I wasnt part of any forums when I first got my car and I was able to replace it.  I'll stop by Saturday so you can stop  :'( :'(

Why are you having a hard time with this, is there something in the way on your car that is not there on the 79's?

Mine was right there easy as pie after I pulled glove box and vent which was also easy to do.  I'm having a hard time imaging what could be difficult about this.  I'll try to get out there and get pictures later.

The harness comes in behind the heat box, you canít see it.   Pie my ass.

Did you pull it out of the firewall first?  You could see it clear as day when it is pulled out with the light coming through the hole.

F*cking pie man.  This is a cake job.

There is the connector right there.  Unplug it and pull it through the firewall and stick the new one in.
This whole job took me maybe 10-15 minutes including pulling the glove box and vent.  I didn't use any strings or whatever the hell you guys are talking about.

(note - i removed whatever wires I didnt need since I deleted the A/C so I think in my picture it is missing a green wire and maybe 1 more I forget.)

By the way, I modified the schematic I posted earlier in this thread.  If you want to delete your A/C and keep your heater blower motor working you can clean up your harness before you install it by removing unnecessary wires so it looks like this.  (I also deleted the idle stop solenoid because Phuc that thing, it isn't going to work with my carb anyhow.  You can keep it if you want but I deleted it from the schematic)

In case anyone is interested

B, I have my old harness in a box, I had to rob the extension red wire female plug, but thereís still a lot left to use if you need any.
