So I hope this is in the right place on the forum...
Couple years ago we went on vacation. We decided to head up to Cedar Point then head to CT to see family. We had good friends that lived in Akron (or near there) at the time and they invited us to stop by and stay a couple days before heading to CT. So we did. Not too far from their house was an antique store. Now, I've never been one to antique shop but they are interesting places to browse through. So, we decide to get some ice cream and then browse through the store. I of course was looking for Firebird stuff and found a '77 hotwheel for a few bucks but then the owner said he had something that might interest me. He pulls out this 1968 red line hot wheel which is a 1967 Firebird. I said cool, how much, he says $200 ... I gulped. I said to myself that I'm not paying that much for a little hotwheel. Well, come to find out, it is #14 off the assembly line and worth a bit more than that and as you can see, he had the pin that accompanied these which makes it worth more. As you can see I did decide to make the purchase and its a cool addition to my small collection.
